Well.. The results don't lie. We have a messed up world out there with the biggest search keyword being "Neytiri Nipple".

For once this is a non-Avatar related blog entry. Anyway this small entry is regarding the whole Fox vs Cablevision bullcrap that's going on right now. If you haven't heard already, there has been a blackout for all Cablevision customers on channels Fox 5 and My9 in the New Jersey, New York area. Why? MONEY. Fox is Demand $5 per subscriber for their channel. And whos affected? US. 3 MILLION OF US!
It's now been nearly been 2 weeks since we could watch shows like House, Family Guy, and yes.. The World Series. So whenever we go to Fox 5 we are greeted by this lovely message:
As you guys can imagine I am pretty annoyed off by this stupid corporate non-sense. With that said, Is anyone else effected by this? Would this piss you off if you were in this situation.
I am seriously considering FIOS or maybe even Direct TV. I know its not directly Cablevision's fault for Fox's rate increase, but still.
Edit - Sorry for the bad spelling. I am half asleep while writing this.

Personally, I like to play around different forum software seeing what each one offers and how we can improve AP in general with some of these features. As of last week a new forum software XenForo was released created by former vBulletin developers. (Another forum software that exists.) Its very modern, fast, and customizable.
So I'm curious to know what everyone thinks of XF. We have installed a copy at http://avatarprime.net/xf/index.php where users can register and play around with it.
Chances are we won't convert AP to it, or any times soon. But were rather interested to know the community members thoughts on it. (And yes there is no dark AP theme on it..)

Has anyone ever had a dream that they were in Pandora or doing something Avatar related? Avatar has been on my mind since January, and I have yet to remember ANY Avatar related dreams. Meanwhile I dream about things I barely ever think about. Is this the same for anyone else? I need to learn lucid dreaming so I can make myself dream about Pandora apparently.

With the recent Avatar Theater Relaunch, it appears many people once again are super hyped for Avatar again. There have been lot more news articles and discussions surrounding Avatar the past few days. Which of course -- Is great for Avatar Prime and other fan based communities.
But the real question is - How long will this hype continue to last for people? Will it last 7 months? Only 2 months? What?
As for me personally, I will always be hyped for Avatar at anytime and anywhere. (Or so I would like to believe.) Some will argue that Avatar will get boring over time, but I seriously doubt this. Not in a few years... not ever. There have been people who have seen Avatar 20 times and say that it never gets old. Avatar is just one of those topics that should never get old because it's not just a movie it's a indescribable experience, of course, in my opinion.
What are your thoughts?
Edit - I apologize for the bad english. It's 3AM, and I'm just posting the thoughts in my mind.
So finally schools is out and now I have to shift my focus on finding a job. Seems like several businesses are flat out rejecting me a) Because I have no former job experience b) I have to be at least 18 to work. So someone please tell me how exactly am I supposed to have job experience if most places require you to be 18? I'm stuck in a loop hole here.
Today I decided to wear my fairly new Avatar shirt to school for the first time. Obviously showing off to the world how much I enjoyed the movie. I knew before hand a few of my friends hated the movie and there were few who loved it. So I was expecting a mass amount of mixed amount of reactions throughout the day. I was correct. I had over 55 students and teachers acknowledge the Avatar shirt. Both good and bad comments. (As you could have easily guessed.)
To List a Few:
"Your a faggot for wearing that Avatar Shirt"
"zOMG I LOVE AVATAR!!"
"That movie sucked why did you bring that shirt to school?"
"Dude I love you. That movie was amazing!"
"That movie was soooo unoriginal. I hated it."
"I heard the movie sucked..."
+ Several Others
So whats my conclusion in this shirt experiment? You either really like Avatar or you hate it. There is no "Meh" or "It's just OK" from what I gather. The amazing Avatar experience either touches you or doesn't.
With that said, What do your friends think of the movie? Did they enjoy it and/or hate it as much as you? Would you wear an Avatar shirt in public? Seems like the entire world knows what Avatar is.
The crazy idea started a few days ago - perhaps we should upgrade Avatar Prime to IPB3.1. It has several features that the community will be able to benefit from lots more.
So Mmarzex and I began talking about how we can make transition to 3.1 possible. When we would start, how the gallery and blog features will work, how we would configure these apps, and how this would be a new "grand opening" for Avatar Prime. Little did we know this was much easier said than done. Now lets be clear about something, the upgrade wasn't a failure but it wasn't exactly what we were expecting. It was much more time consuming than what we originally intended. And buggier than we expected.
So the forum upgrade went as smooth as day. Not a single issue there. The real trouble is getting all the features in IPB3.1 to look good on themes we already had for 3.0.
So here is a timeline of how my day went:
11:30 AM: Wake up from dogs barking
11:45 AM: Log into Avatar Prime and make 1 or 2 posts
11:50 AM: Purchase IP.Content and IP.Gallery
12:00 PM: Begin overwriting the IPB 3.1 files over our old 3.0 files
12:45 PM: Run the database upgrade
1:15 PM: Install IP.Content, IP.Blog, IP.Gallery, IP.Subscriptions
1:30 PM: Spend an hour basically configuring permissions for everything
3:00 PM: Say hi to Mmarzex and tell him begin the template merging and configuring IP.Content
8:00 PM: Watch House MD
8:30 PM: In the middle of watching my favorite TV show I read that there is a major editor bug at the community, and try and reproduce it.
9:00 PM: Fix the bug by turning off the Rich Test Editor.
9:30 PM: Begin writing a blog about today's experiences
So while the upgrade went fine, we will be haunted with bugs and theme updating for the next few weeks. (Especially with IP.Gallery and IP.Blog) Not to mention a entire home webpage we plan to complete. This will keep is busy for the next year.
